Today, robots are a key element in Industry 4.0, as they provide answers, with new production methods, to the major issues of our times. This idea, which many people have probably been thinking about for a relatively short time, becomes even stronger when talking, or in this case writing, about collaborative robotics. An innovative solution that already represents a new era in industrial robotics.
Lightweight, flexible and easy to install, they are suitable for working in close proximity to people. These features did not go unnoticed at Spain’s most important international packaging trade fair, Hispack.
More than 250 general managers, technicians and automation specialists, representing their companies, came to see with their own eyes the operation of Sinterpack’s palletizing cell.
While part of our team attended to visitors and onlookers, this cell, composed of three CCPS, cooperated with them, allowing them to carry out their work in complete safety, without the need for any perimeter fencing.
The cell included a case dosing system, a telescopic column with the capacity to reach up to 2,300 mm pallet height, three UR-10 robots from Universal Robots, two depalletizing stations and two palletizing stations, all of them independent. In addition, it worked in the same way as it would in any other plant, a fact that differentiated and positioned Sinterpack’ s technology within the Fair.
